Our style to camp
On the one hand you can talk hours about what the best style of camping is, which caravan or tent will be the best or which equipment you
should have. On the other side I think everybody should get his own experiances and find out what he likes regarding caravaning equipment
and what is comfortable for himself and maybe for his family too. Our family do camping since a long time, in the begin with an old
rebuilt VW-Bully, the childrens used a tent to that time. Since nearly thirty years we use an own caravan. With our caravan and with
caravan parks we got a lot of experiances which we will partly share here.
Starting at this page we will show you which equipment we have, on the following pages we will show you some pics of the places we
joined.
Our caravaning equipment
Cars	Since April 2019 our main car for carrying our caravan is a Skoda Kodiaq. With this we are
	very happy and rialized that even our second car, our Lada 4x4, is able to carry our caravan,
	even the bigger car give us much more comfortability.
Caravan	Knaus Südwind TKF 550
	-> for our family still good, even with some experiance something could be better.
Tents	Fritz Berger partly Pretent "Zermatt"
	-> We decided to sell our big pretent because it needs always to much time to built it and when
	the weather is nice we like better to sit outside. For bad weather or winter we stay inside
	and this tent give us enough place to store our things and protect the entrance from wind and
	weather.
	Sunshade
	-> Since few years we have a shade plane, which we can zip in easily. It allow us to sit outside
	on sunny days and protect the caravan front a bit from sun as well.
	Quechua Air Seconds 4.1
	-> Few years ago we bought this tent for give us extra sleeping places. In 2022 we used it first
	time at a caravan park at the baltic sea and we was very happy. In combination with the
	Decathlon trade mark camping beds it give one or two persons a comfortable sleeping place.
Others	For us one of the important buys was an extra ref. This is specially in
	summer a big help if you have to keep fruits, vegetables or drinks. On the other hand with
	children and the equipment you have to bring with all family members, there is often to less space
	to bring a extra ref. Good too is the beach vehicle we bought and which you can use for
	transporting canous, beach equipment or the dirty water tank.
Current plans
In spring 2021 we decided to place our caravan permanent at Caravanpark Kreuzberg, Oberwildflecken, Germany. Reason for this decision
was, that we had to give up the place where we parked the caravan during times, we did not use it and that the caravan is getting older. Side
effects are, that we do our caravaning always at Rhön and we are not so easy able to get it out where it is placed. We will see what the
future will bring to us with our caravan.
